The Proverbial Hare

The Proverbial Hare is the creative work of Yorkshire artist Hels Forrester.

Drawing inspiration from the moors, hills and wildlife of the Yorkshire landscape, Hels combines pen, ink, paint and collage to create expressive scenes filled with movement and character. Hares appear often in her work, alongside bold abstracted landscapes that reflect her love of the outdoors.

Her artwork appears across a range of prints, cards and homeware, bringing a little of that Yorkshire spirit into everyday life.
