Alice and Audrey

Founded by Nicola, Alice and Audrey is all about finding joy in life’s little things, through thoughtfully designed and handmade cards, gifts and accessories. The name is a tribute to two inspiring women in Nicola's life: her mother-in-law Alice, a talented, self-taught needleworker, and her grandmother Audrey, a seamstress from the age of 14, who passed down a love for craft and creativity.

From early days spent cutting, drawing and sewing, to a deep love for embroidery, appliqué and working with natural materials like linen, cotton and jute, Nicola has nurtured a lifelong passion for handmade artistry. Her work is rooted in traditional techniques and inspired by nature, the countryside, folk art and personal faith.

Today, her pieces blend hand-stitching with original illustrations, and she’s begun developing her own printed designs and fabric patterns too. Every product is created with care and designed to offer joy, encouragement and a small moment of beauty in the everyday.
