Karen, the artist behind Redcurrant Glass, creates stunning kiln-formed glass art, including fused glass panels, sculptural commissions, and unique glass and silver jewellery. Her work is inspired by the local landscapes and rural surroundings of the North West.
Since founding Redcurrant Glass in 2001, Karen has been crafting bespoke pieces in the historic Higherford Mill, home to the world’s last remaining north light weaving shed, dating back to 1824. Each creation reflects both the heritage of the location and the natural beauty that surrounds it.
