He works mainly with native hardwoods, creating pieces that highlight the natural grain, character, and inclusions of the wood. His style is clean and classic, allowing the material to speak for itself with minimal shaping or unnecessary detail.
More recently, David has been exploring the contrast between natural wood textures and bold, coloured or lacquered surfaces.
