Hyde Wares

Founded in 2015 by Jonathan Hyde, Hyde Wares creates leather goods designed to last and develop character with use. Each item is designed and handmade by its founder at Exchange Place Studios in Sheffield, part of Yorkshire Artspace.

The business began with a discovery of leathercraft while living in Porto, Portugal. Inspired by local materials and classic design, Jonathan started by creating things for personal use: a sturdy camera strap, a belt to last for years and a dependable key fob.

That practical approach still guides the range today. Every new design is put through its paces before going on sale, with an emphasis on everyday usefulness, lasting materials and considered design.
