With a background in fashion and bridalwear, Amanda honed her skills in design in the bridal industry before joining her family’s clothing business. A move to North Yorkshire brought a new sense of creative freedom, where the dramatic coastline and rolling moorland became the inspiration behind her work.

Driven by a love of the Arts and Crafts Movement, Amanda creates one-of-a-kind handbags that blur the line between function and art. Each bag is carefully crafted using a mix of machine and hand stitching, often incorporating upcycled natural materials, most notably wool from kilts and silk from vintage kimonos. The result is a collection of unique, sustainable pieces that Amanda describes as 'Wearable Art'.
