Dragonfly Glass Art

Dragonfly Glass Art is the work of Yorkshire-based maker Amanda, who discovered her passion for stained glass after joining a local evening class. What began as a creative escape soon turned into something more when Amanda became hooked after just a few sessions. As she learned the traditional copper foil technique, her confidence and skill grew, and so did the demand for her beautifully handmade decorations.

Inspired by her love of nature, Amanda began creating glass pieces for the garden. These included birds, butterflies and of course the distinctive dragonfly design that gave her business its name. She delights in the endless variety of colours and textures that glass offers, and one of her favourite parts of the process is choosing just the right glass for each piece.

Every piece that Amanda makes reflects her thoughtful, hands-on approach and the satisfaction of creating something both beautiful and made to last.
