Jenny Challenger is a wildlife illustrator, mural painter and woodcarver based just outside Skipton. Her work is inspired by the animals, plants and landscapes around her, and by a desire to encourage greater care for the natural world.
Jenny works across illustration, painted murals and hand-carved wooden pieces. Whether working on a small drawing or a larger mural, she uses her art to share her knowledge of wildlife and help people reconnect with nature.
Environmental responsibility is also important to Jenny's practice. She uses locally sourced wood and hand tools for her wooden pieces, and aims to use recyclable or biodegradable materials for her printed work and packaging.
