Davinder Madaher is a textile designer and artist with over 30 years’ experience in fashion and homeware. His career has included working in New York and designing prints, patterns and surface designs for major retailers.
Today, Davinder combines his design work with painting and teaching. His paintings explore floral forms through mixed media, bringing together his long-standing interest in textiles and pattern with a more intuitive approach to painting. Colour, texture and expressive mark-making are central to his work.
Flowers have long been a source of inspiration, with his current work exploring the relationship between pattern, memory and identity through contemporary floral painting.
