Christmas Soap Workshop with Rachael of Wharfedale Soaps

Join Rachael from Wharfedale Soaps for a festive afternoon of Christmas soap making.

You’ll be using clear melt and pour soap (SLS and SLES free) along with a range of essential oils and micas to produce 9 beautiful soaps.   

Firstly you'll create your very own Winter scene in a soap using green and white micas to create soap trees, snow drifts, snowflakes or little stars. These soaps are scented with a blend of peppermint and lemongrass essential oils.

Then you will create snowflake soaps, scented with Winter Morning fragrance oil, a comforting Christmassy blend of cinnamon and pine with notes of vanilla, apple and clove. These soaps are coloured with sparkly white and silver micas.

Finally you'll make your very own candy cane soap. Layers of red and white soap topped with peppermint scented chunks.

At the end of the workshop there will be time to individually gift wrap each soap making them perfect as gifts or just for yourself.

Please note this workshop is unsuitable for children under 12 years.

Where are Workshops Held?

Unless otherwise stated, our workshops take place in the spacious, light-filled gallery room on the first floor of Just Makers in Craven Court, Skipton.

Please note that the workshop room is accessed via one flight of stairs. Toilet facilities are available on site.
What Do I Bring?

Just bring yourselves!
All materials will be provided unless we let you know otherwise.

We’ll have refreshments ready for you on arrival. If your workshop runs all day, please note that lunch isn’t provided. You’re welcome to bring a packed lunch or visit the various tea rooms and coffee shops very close by.

If your workshop is likely to get a bit messy, we recommend wearing something you don’t mind getting creative in!
Car Parking

Car parks are available very close to Craven Court. The closest car park is High Street Car park (BD23 1ED) and we are a 5 minute walk.
Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change, and we’ll always do our best to be fair.

Please note the following terms for workshop cancellations:

  • Cancellations made one calendar month or more before the workshop: You’ll receive a full refund.
  • Between one month and 14 days before the workshop: We’ll issue a credit note for the full amount which you can use towards a future workshop.
  • Cancellations less than 14 days in advance: We’ll do our best to fill your spot. If we’re able to, we’ll offer a transfer or credit note towards another workshop. If not, we’re sorry but we can’t offer a refund.

Gift vouchers
If you booked using a gift voucher, please note that we’re unable to offer cash refunds. However we’ll follow the same cancellation terms and issue a credit note where applicable.

If we cancel
If we ever need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ll give you as much notice as possible and offer a full refund. Sadly we can’t accept responsibility for travel or other costs you may have incurred.
