The Yorkshire Pasta Company

Founded in 2020, The Yorkshire Pasta Company is the UK’s first dedicated British pasta brand, bringing artisan quality to family tables, restaurants and food lovers across the country. This small family-run business has already made its mark, appearing on James Martin’s Saturday Morning, winning multiple awards including two Great Taste accolades, and being stocked in over 450 independent shops (including ours!).

At the heart of the company is founder Kathryn, who started the business at just 27 with a passion for food, sustainability and quality. Yorkshire Pasta is crafted using traditional Italian techniques, including bronze dies that give the pasta a wonderfully rough surface for sauces to cling to, and a slow drying process that develops depth of flavour. The result is pasta with real character, proudly made in Yorkshire but loved far beyond.

Behind the scenes, Kathryn is supported by her sister-in-law Beth, who leads production, and a small family team. Together, they combine craftsmanship, sustainability and a love of good food to produce pasta that is not only delicious but also environmentally responsible, using recyclable, plastic-free packaging and solar energy.
