Amy is the founder of Make, a handcrafted jewellery brand based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. With a background in Art and Design Technology and over 16 years as a secondary school teacher, Amy has always loved creating.

What began as a hobby has now grown into a full-time passion and successful business, driven by a desire to make earrings that are both stylish and genuinely comfortable to wear.

Frustrated by the lack of options that were hypoallergenic, lightweight, and affordable, Amy set out to design earrings that tick every box. She wanted statement pieces that don’t irritate sensitive ears, are easy to wear all day, and feel unique to the person wearing them. Using high-quality stainless steel and hypoallergenic ingredients, every pair is made with care and attention to detail. Since then, Amy has expanded her range into necklaces, rings and other jewellery types.
