Jennifer Calder’s love of art and design has always been at the heart of what she does. She began her creative career as a textile designer for Osborne & Little in London, surrounded by pattern, colour and intricate detail. After many successful years in the textile world, a move to Yorkshire sparked a new direction, and she turned her attention to fine art.

Jenni now specialises in realistic animal portraiture, capturing the beauty and character of each subject, layer by layer, in her distinctive style. Inspired by the local wildlife and landscapes of Yorkshire, her work reflects both her technical skill and her deep appreciation for the natural world.

While animals remain her favourite subject, Jenni is always exploring new techniques and ideas, bringing her passion for creativity into every piece she makes.
