August Arrivals. August has arrived and although it hasn't brought us any sunshine just yet it has brought us lots of fabulous new local makers. Read on to find out who is joining us for August and September.
Inky Print Designs
Sarah is the creator of Inky Print Designs. She has crafted prints from her original watercolour paintings. She then adds layers and tweaks the colours to create vibrant fun prints. She captures everyday items such as vegetables, fruit or steaming cups of tea and elevates them to unique pieces of art. Mushrooms have never looked so good! Sarah's work will be on display throughout August and September so why not pop in and take a look. The perfect way to brighten up any kitchen.
Monah & Co / The Apothecary Barn
Monah & Co have a goal to avoid single use plastics & use more natural products to alleviate skin problems caused by unnecessary chemicals.
Their philosophy is simple..... No nonsense natural skincare that is inspired by Mother Nature. Leaving as little Environmental impact on the earth as possible.
We are delighted to be stocking their beautiful range which includes soaps, pillow mists, hand and lip balms and fabulous kits to create your own beeswax wraps.
Jam Artworks
Ey Up! Jo and Mike make up Jam Artworks and they been creating Yorkshire Sayings products since 2017. Their collection includes fabulously colourful prints/cards/ with a dash of Yorkshire humour. The are guaranteed to brighten up any home and make the perfect gift for your Yorkshire friends, home or away.

Mary Baggaley
The appropriately named Mary Baggaley has crafted a beautiful collection of handbags and wash bags. Using embroidery techniques and gorgeous liberty fabrics to create her practical but beautiful designs you'll find it hard to pick just one. The range includes crossbody bags, shoulder bags and her stunning embroidered letter wash bags. We only have a few and customers are loving them so don't miss out!
Eric Buckland Woodcrafts
Woodscraftsman Eric Buckland has joined for August and September with his incredible wooden vases and boxes. His work includes the intricate 60 segment multi-hardwood species dried flower pot. The effect is like chequered wood - just stunning. He has also used fabulously bright acrylic finishes such acid lime to produce his unique twig pots. Make sure you drop in to see us soon as each piece is a one off so won't hang around for long.
Jane Dennis
Artist, designer and maker Jane Dennis specialises in ceramics. We are delighted to be showcasing her bold and contemporary range of fruit and vegetables which will look chic and elegant in any modern spaces. Jane's colourful lemons, limes, apples and pears look good enough to eat and her small ceramic birds are flying off the shelves. Why not pop in and check out Jane's work throughout July and August.
Sarah Nicholls
Yorkshire artist and painter Sarah Nicholls moved from London to Yorkshire in 2008. She now takes inspiration from the stunning Yorkshire countryside to paint bright, vivid, colourful interpretations of trees and landscapes. Sarah's more recent work incorporates a pointillist style wherein she layers thousands and thousands of dots on top of each other to bring her paintings to life. Sarah's striking work will be with us throughout July and August and includes her prints, cards and original pieces. Vibrant pieces guaranteed to brighten up any wall.
